Controller and contact

European Championship Series is an IK Studios product. Before public launch, insert the registered legal entity, postal address, privacy email and—if required—Data Protection Officer contact here. This draft is intentionally not presenting missing company details as final.

02

Data we process

We process account and contact details, age/eligibility declarations, country, platform and Activision identifiers, team membership and logos, tournament registrations, match results, stream links, evidence uploads, support messages, security logs and staff rulings.

  • Account data is required to provide the service.
  • Competition data establishes eligibility, results and audit history.
  • Stream and proof data supports integrity, disputes and broadcasts.
  • Technical logs protect accounts and platform security.
03

Purposes and legal bases

We use contract necessity to operate accounts and tournaments; legitimate interests to secure the service, prevent abuse and preserve fair competition; consent where an optional use genuinely requires it; and legal obligation where records must be retained or disclosed. We will document the balancing test for legitimate-interest processing before launch.

04

Sharing and international transfers

Data may be shared with infrastructure, authentication, storage, streaming, moderation and support providers; tournament opponents; authorized staff; and public viewers where a result, roster or broadcast is public. Production vendors and transfer safeguards must be listed before launch. European Championship Series does not sell player personal data.

05

Retention

Account data is kept while an account is active and for a limited period afterward. Results and rulings may be retained as competition history. Proof and stream evidence is retained only through the dispute/security window unless a live investigation or legal duty requires longer. Exact retention periods must be approved and inserted before production.

06

Your rights

EU/EEA players may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Players may complain to their national supervisory authority. Requests must be routed to the production privacy contact once published.

07

Automated decisions and minors

Qualification formulas and bracket progression are deterministic tools with visible inputs; disciplinary and disputed decisions require authorized review. European Championship Series must finalize its minimum-age and parental-consent process before production and present child-appropriate notices wherever required.

This material is a product draft, not legal advice. It must be completed and approved by qualified EU counsel before European Championship Series is opened to the public.
